Research conducted by the global Red Cross Red Crescent network

Advancing the humanitarian mission through evidence and learning

The map displays the geographical scope of where the projects were conducted and not the country of origin of the research.

The Red Cross and Red Crescent Research Consortium is made up of a disparate but like minded group of research oriented organizations representing different parts of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Network. This map shows that as whole we are not only an extensive and rich data producer but also a center of gravity for research and knowledge development.

This map is a collection of current research activities, studies and academic papers that are supported by the members of the Research Consortium and captures some of the research activities which, when considered as a whole, would rival most universities, academic and research institutions.

This commitment to expanding an evidence base, investing in new knowledge and sharing learning across our network is a valuable and valued contribution to our network and the wider humanitarian community. There are currently _ research projects in this database. We invite you to explore them on this site.
